Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Polymer ("Polymer", "we", "us") collects when you use our automated trading platform for Polymarket prediction markets, how we use that information, and what choices you have. By using the service you consent to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
a. Account and authentication
When you sign in we receive a wallet address and, if you authenticate through an embedded wallet provider, an associated email or social identifier. We do not receive or store your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords.
b. Bot configurations
We store the configurations you supply for your trading bots, including selected strategy, capital allocation, risk parameters, market filters, and similar settings. These are linked to your account so the bots can run on your behalf.
c. Trading activity
We store records of the orders we place, cancel, or fill on your behalf, including timestamps, prices, sizes, market identifiers, outcomes, and realized profit and loss. This data is needed to operate the bots, display history to you, and detect errors.
d. Technical and usage data
Like most online services we receive technical information when you interact with the platform, including IP address, browser type, device characteristics, pages visited, and timestamps. We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and to measure aggregate usage; details are described below.
e. Communications
If you contact us by email or other channels we will retain those communications and any information you provide in them.
2. How We Use Information
- to operate, maintain, and improve the trading bots and the platform;
- to authenticate you and to keep your account secure;
- to display your activity, balances, and history within the dashboard;
- to monitor performance and diagnose bugs, including aggregate analytics on bot behavior;
- to detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our Terms;
- to comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
3. How We Share Information
We share information only with the following categories of recipients:
- Polymarket: the prediction-market venue that receives the orders we place on your behalf. Order placement is public on-chain activity tied to your wallet address.
- Wallet provider: the embedded wallet provider you authenticate through receives the information needed to manage your wallet and your authentication session, subject to its own privacy policy.
- Infrastructure providers: hosting, monitoring, and analytics vendors that process data on our behalf under confidentiality and data-protection commitments.
- Legal authorities: where required by law, subpoena, or other binding legal process, or where necessary to protect our rights, property, or the safety of others.
- Successor in interest: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred to the acquiring party, subject to a privacy commitment no less protective than this one.
We do not sell personal information.
4. Cookies and Analytics
We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your interface preferences (for example, dark mode). We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to measure aggregate usage patterns. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some parts of the service will not function correctly without them.
5. Data Retention
We retain account information and trading history for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards in order to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Aggregate, de-identified data may be retained longer.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some on-chain data — such as order and fill history recorded on a public blockchain — cannot be deleted by us because it is not under our control.
7. Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your wallet credentials and recovery material safe.
8. International Transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you are located. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.
9. Children
The service is not directed to children under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL, and material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the service after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
